Sonic and the Black Knight is a 2009 platformer and the second/last game in the Sonic Storybook Series following the 2007 Sonic and the Secret Rings. This game is set in the world of King Arthur and gives Sonic the sword Calibur to defeat a corrupted black knight version of King Arthur and three of his knights of the round table: Sir Gawain (Knuckles), Sir Lancelot (Shadow The Hedgehog), and Sir Percival (Blaze the Cat). Along the way the Blacksmith (Tails) and the Lady of the Lake (Amy) help aid your quest. Although Galahad (Silver the Hedgehog) and Lamorak (Jet The Hawk) are playable through the game's multiplayer, they are not involved in the story.
