Sonic Boll - Complete Playthrough
7The idea of a crossover between Mario and Sonic growing up was unheard of. Nintendo and Sega were going head to head in the late 80s/early 90s, and the thought of a mash-up like 'Sonic Boll' was a fever dream for the players. This game takes variations of the visuals from Super Mario Bros, and crosses them with audio and gameplay mechanics of Sonic the Hedgehog.
More than likely by now you've seen footage of a Super Mario Bros hack with Michael Jackson as a playable character. As soon as I saw videos featuring the King of Pop in the Mushroom Kingdom I KNEW I needed to at least give it a try. Fast forward a little while and here is my playthrough of Sonic Boll v1.9 as Michael Jackson... complete with 'whoos' and 'hehes'. This was an experience to say the least, and I hope you enjoy the run!
