This was a nice and fun Score Attack. As with all Act 1/2s in Sonic CD, it is quite complex.

RINGS:

In this run I get 631 rings, which improved the record by 19 more rings. Some of these simple, some very difficult.

The first 4 are obtained via the Time Travel sequence starting at 5:45. This is a very precise Time Travel, as there is no ground to land on inside the wall. So instead, you have to time it so that when you arrive in the Present, you are actually so close to the tube whilst still being on the outside, that it actually tries to suck you in, allowing you to rest outside the tube, and then jump after the post time travel invincibility wears off (which prevents you from obtaining rings)

The next 9 are obtained via 2 separate Time Travels to the Present. The first at 16:25, and the second at 19:11. It requires 2 because getting all 9 at once isn't possible, as you exit the wall terrain as you obtain them. Not that hard to do though, just have to map out the positioning properly to make sure you land on the small ledge inside the wall after the travel.

The next 4 are by far the most difficult, obtained via a Time Travel to the past at 17:35. While this one might actually look the most simple, I assure you it is anything but. To be able to get the jump off and stay on the spot to get the rings requires extreme precision. For a while I did not think they were possible, took me quite some time just to lab it. Happy I got this first try, though not getting it first try would not make them impossible, as there is backup Past signpost available.

And then the final 2 rings obtained at 22:48. Though really, these 2 rings are added by a Time Travel used at 10:27 - this is because entering the final tube usually spits you right out to the end of the stage unable to turn back, so prioritising getting 4 rings in the Future instead of 2 rings in the Present makes sense. However if you Time Travel in the tube like I did here, you can grab both sets.

The nerve-wracking part though, is that the very final ring is tricky, one of those delicate position yourself just enough inside the wall to grab rings, the present has a few of these. But if you miss, it's actually somewhat tricky to manoeuvre yourself to not fall into the final tube, which would prevent you from trying again. Thankfully even though I missed a few times, I didn't fall being able to retry until I got it.

ENEMY COMBOS:

Remember, enemy combos in this game only break when you touch the ground. Landing on objects (like springs / moving platforms) allow the combo to be continued.

All of these were perfect from what I'm aware of. While this stage not being open like Palmtree Panic means there are no insanely high combos, plenty of these are still very precise and difficult.

The hardest is the Present combo that starts at 6:25 (requires speedshoes). The ending to this combo I was treated mostly as a bonus, managing to sneak under the moving spring and not touch the ground is super duper hard. But it allows three more into the combo, as it extends to the final 2 noro-noros too. I also love that I got to use the Time Travel invincibility as part of that combo, very neat stuff.

That same technique is used on the final enemy at 20:47, and at the end of the big Past combo at 14:24. That combo is one of my favourites, because it's both fairly easy, and uses some very clever techniques.
