It has been over 7 years since a Sonic Chaos IL has been beaten. Not since January 2012, when the first 10 TH1S and 15 EE2S were achieved have any of them been lowered. Until now.

This game is very simplistic to achieve high speeds, and the levels are very very short, meaning maxing them is generally pretty easy. So lowering any levels any further is just very difficult. It takes a large amount of hyper optimising. And that's what you're seeing here. Just plain hyper optimising to absolutely squeeze out that last second. While things like the third peelout look extremely tight to even get off (which it is), in reality the whole level is like that because there's just so little time you can lose and still get the 15. But it is now done. This also takes the total combined time for all ILs for the game from 5:00 to 4:59, so broke the minute barrier there too!
