Sonic Colors (Ultimate) - Alternate Goal Rings
2All hidden alternate goal rings in Sonic Colors documented, also functions as a walkthrough.
Both Versions:
Tropical Resort Act 3 - Use the lazer wisp to reach the 5th red ring, then use the pulley.
Tropical Resort Act 4 - Use the drill wisp to dig underground at any point and go straight.
Asteroid Coast Act 1 - Break all the chroma cubes on the rings of the metal saturn level at the end of the level. Seems to be a failsafe in case the player uses all the pulleys and falls off the top of saturn.
Ultimate only:
Tropical Resort Act 5 - Use the lazer wisp line near the end of the level, then use the jade wisp to get the 5th red ring and fly up to the goal (If you run out of wisp power, use walljumps).
Sweet Mountain Act 6 - Go on the rail at the end of the level and use the jade wisp to fly up to platforms up above leading to the 5th red ring. The goal ring will be in view.
Planet Wisp Act 1 - After the last quickstep section, use the jade wisp near the rocket wisp to fly upleft to the spike wisp capsule. Afterward, go left on the ceiling and use the jade wisp to fly above the level. At the end of the platforming section, there will be a goal ring (Strangely there is no red ring).
Wii only:
Aquarium Park Act 3 - Right before the last speed booster, jump above, stomp, then use a rocket wisp to fly up (You can use the wisp while stomping) and skip past the booster. Slowly walk forward and active the 3D trigger while not going past the invisible wall. Go back and jump into the water. If you do it right, you'll have water physics everywhere, letting you jump and fly past the first goal ring. To avoid drowning and clipping out of the level, stomp into the quickstep section after the first goal ring and go into low water hole afterward and jump out. Now you'll have gotten out of the water with the 2D section working properly. Now you can go right and go down the dragon structure and run into the second goal ring.
This glitch seems to be patched in Ultimate, I couldn't get it to work.
