Sonic Double Feature! - MCIHAD
5You thought you’d seen the last of Sonic the Hedgehog on our beleaguered Let’s Play, didn’t you? DIDN’T YOU?? After milking it with TWO Mega Play adaptations, the trackball monstrosity, and the fighting game, WHAT ELSE could there possibly be?! Well, we’re really scraping the bottom of the barrel this week with what have to be, HAVE TO BE, the final instances of Sonic effluvia to have emanated unbidden from the depths of the frighteningly prolific Japanese arcade market in the 1990’s: Sonic Waku Waku Patrol Car and SegaSonic Popcorn Shop! The former is a bare bones interface that accompanied a Sonic-themed kiddie ride found only in Japan, and the later of which is EXACTLY WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE. Confused? Yes, that is a state of mind one frequently finds oneself in when plumbing the depths of Sonic minutiae.
This video constitutes the first experiment in multi-feature episodes, and we consider the experiment a rousing (or is it arousing?) success! Expect more Double Feature episodes to come!
