I finally got around to doing the same thing I did with other videos from DVDs and used dgbob in Avidemux to deinterlance the footage and restore it to 60fps. I waited this long because at first I couldn't see much improvement from the prior upload I did (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WmODiQj92A), but wow. You can most see it with how smoother the camera footage of the hands move, and there's less blurring in the gameplay in the top-right corner (and is a bit smoother as well).

So the original 720x480 footage in case it wasn't clear, originates from the E3 2004 DVD "The Future of Videogames", specifically the 3rd disc. It's the same one I ripped Nintendo's E3 2004 conference from.
