3In anticipation of Sonic X Shadow Generations, I thought it would be fun to revisit the original game, Sonic Generations. This particular game holds a special place in my heart, as it was my proper introduction into the Sonic games. It was the first Sonic game I ever owned, and I've been playing ever since. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us when the new game comes out. I'm so excited! I hope this series will help to prepare you for the new game!
Sonic Generations was released on November 1, 2011, on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC to commemorate Sonic's 20th anniversary. It is currently available for purchase on Steam.
In this video, we will cover Planet Wisp, which first appeared in Sonic Colors in 2010 for the Wii. Sonic Colors would be remastered with new content, and rereleased 2021 as Sonic Colors Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Windows, and PlayStation 4 for Sonic's 30th Anniversary. Planet Wisp would go on to appear in Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games as well as Team Sonic Racing.
