257So after being completely disappointed by Sonic Forces, I decided to go back to Sonic Lost World and give it a replay. I must say, it's very refreshing to see a Sonic game with actual competent AI.
Sonic Lost World is an oddball of a game. On one hand it reminds me of a Mario game with its generic level themes. And the run button doesn't help in that regard, not to mention the fact that the controls are rather clunky at first and the game does a poor job conveying its mechanics.
On the other hand, the parkour is neat and once you get accustomed to Lost World's controls and how momentum works, it's actually pretty fun. Also the levels are longer, decently challenging and fun to speedrun and don't put me to sleep.
So I decided to make a speedrun video, but added my own music, because I find the music for Desert Ruins Act 1 to be kind of generic. So allow me to add something with actual fire in it. :D
