After digging in the game I found the code that updates each object that runs on each frame. so through some creative coding, we can just update those object every other frame making everything BUT sonic run at half rate. the problem comes that because everything is updated every frame that also includes collision so on objects that sonic can stand on, so they basically faze in and out every other frame causing sonic to "fall" every other frame.
