Sonic Utopia's a rather lovely fangame that captures the classic era gameplay and successfully translates it to 3D, a feat even SEGA themselves had not accomplished.
Even this small demo has been a delight to periodically dive back into for some thrills of speed and exploration, and this lead to me finding a small out of bounds glitch.
This is possible due to how Sonic has some freedom of movement he should not do if he charges a super peel-out whilst running alongside a wall, and positioning himself onto an exact spot which traps Sonic until he gains enough speed to pop out on either side.
Pop out the wrong way you'll get underneath some underwater segments of the map which look weird but cool, there's not much to explore down here but there are a few gaps in the floor exist and Sonic can fall out of the map completely. The lack of kill plane means he'll just keep on falling, and if you wait long enough floating point inaccuracy will kick in and certain animations will start to bug out.

Keep up the good work Mr Lange and Murasaki Fox, I can't wait for the full game.
