SONIC X - Episode 53 & U-PICK No.8 Promo for NGO Animation Weekends
This is the first SONIC X promo for the next Toon Time Theater arc that will happen on April 2025. I have confirmed SONIC X for a third season broadcast, and I will live-stream it until September 2025 to buy some time until the 2026 World Cup approaches. Other confirmed cartoon series for the next arc include SAILOR MOON (Negaverse arc, reruns, E/I), Virtua Fighter (E/I), serial experiments lain, LAZARUS (2025), Fate/stay night (2006) & chance pop session (2001 animated series).
With the recent endings of FLCL Shoegaze, SWORD ART ONLINE (Aincrad arc) and the soon-to-be-finished NARUTO Season 2, there will be some shoes left to fill up. The new arc will be decided on a U-PICK poll that will determine the direction my weekend anime blocks should go, but I'm going to need my audience and other fellow Tumblr users to show support for my live-streams and the poll. The fact is, someone else will handle the U-PICK poll, and I stopped hosting polls once the Separate Ways arc happened this January. Some kind of "super hero" will host the poll, but I have a feeling it will be all anti-isekai themed considering our distaste for such a dominant anime genre. I like some isekai, but not the more recent ones.
Participate on U-PICK Poll No.8 here:
https://www.tumblr.com/blog/toontimetheater
The poll will last between April 2 and April 5 at 6:30 AM / 5:30 AM Central & Pacific, so you have to act quick and cast your votes on whether that "super hero" should re-brand my Saturday morning cartoon block or not. If it succeeds, I will let him do his thing.* If it fails, I will continue running Toon Time Theater and move some More One Night programs to Saturday mornings now that I have Cartoon Network, adult swim and Toonami back, and one of my main purposes is to bring Toonami's programming to Saturday morning audiences that are unable to stay up for Toonami (or More One Night) due to strict curfews and having to go to Church the next morning. So basically, if the re-branding doesn't happen, I will treat More One Night as a dumping ground for science fiction anime and anime that aired on adult swim prior to the Toonami re-branding.
During the poll, Tumblr users can vote whether to have a "school only" lineup for Saturday mornings, moving all other shows to Saturday nights, or have a "balanced" lineup where half of the programs have a school setting, where the other half isn't set at school. The "super hero" and I have decided that I want to showcase more cartoons and anime set in school, which used to be the dominant anime genre before the isekai boom of the 2010s and 2020s.

The Saturday Morning Animation Cram Session (SMACS) comes on Saturday mornings on the New Gabe Order Twitch channel. The start times will be determined depending on the final results of U-PICK Poll No.8.
More One Night, Toon Time Theater's late-night spin-off block, comes on Saturday nights at 9:00 / 8:00 Central & Pacific (barring E/I programming). OKITSURA (E/I), Laid-Back Camp (E/I), Pokémon, LAZARUS, COMMON SIDE EFFECTS, Fate/stay night (2006), chance pop session (2001) and KEY THE METAL IDOL (reruns, up to Ver.7) are confirmed for Saturday nights, and will be unaffected by the poll.
