Welcome to Sonic Xs and Shadow Xs! These two games are actually, despite many people's confusion, Official Flash Game released by 4Kids around 2005. These two games were made with the intention of promotion the newest Sonic anime, Sonic X that was being released at the time. In these games you either control Sonic or Shadow and your goal is to reach the goal door before the time runs out, while attacking enemies with Rings. Sonic Xs had 2 versions, being the only difference the addition of Cheat Codes. Interestingly the art style of these games is based on an interaction present in Sonic X, Season 1, Episode 24 - "How to Catch a Hedgehog".
