Two months ago on a whim, I decided to reach out to representatives of Sega's internal music division asking "First, do you have Jun Senoe's 1997 sonic adventure sessions backed up?" "Secondly, How much are we talking to release these?" I thought the E-Mail ended up being ignored.
Unsure if I was being taken seriously,
I sent an email asking the same questions with my recent teaser for the definitive remasters of Bob Summers sailor moon tapes (still coming I just accidentally broke my laptop hdd boards ribbon cable and as such the files are stuck there on my laptop) finally this second email found it's way to Jun himself earlier this month.
I finally struck a deal with him after a week of negotiations for $XXX.00 (EDITORIAL NOTE: I was told when I sent this video and description in for review that I was not allowed to share the exact amount paid, just how they run things at Sega I guess?).
