The general consensus in the Souls Community was that players did not want Sony to buy Kadokawa/FromSoftware. Last we heard, Sony and Kadokawa were a couple of weeks away from finalizing the deal. For the moment, this is a relief to the community. We'll have to see how things develop; I'll keep you updated.
