Along with the Xperia 1 IV, Japanese company Sony also introduced a new mid-range smartphone Xperia 10 IV. The design of the device remained almost the same as that of its predecessor, but the filling was updated. The Xperia 10 IV is positioned as one of the lightest 5G smartphones on the market. The novelty weighs 161 g, which is less than the Xperia 10 III. The new phone features a 6-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a base refresh rate of 60Hz. The screen, according to the company, is 50% brighter than its predecessor. Glass Gorilla Glass Victus and IP65/68 protection class are also available here.
The new version is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor instead of the Snapdragon 690 in the Xperia 10 III. The chip is complemented by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. The battery capacity has increased by 500 mAh to 5000 mAh. Supports 30W fast charging. The device is running Android 12.
In terms of cameras, it offers a 12-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. It supports eye autofocus, 4K HDR video recording and slo-mo 720p at 120 fps. Front module 8 MP.
Other features of the device include a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, LDAC support, and 360 Reality Audio. By the way, the smartphone comes without a charger in the kit, like the Xperia 1 IV.
Sony Xperia 10 IV will be released in white, black, green and lavender colors. The price will be around 499 euros.
