Google Pixel Buds Pro | Google TWS Earbuds with 6-core Audio Chip and ANC (2022)
7At Google I/O 2022, Google introduced the Google Assistant-enabled Pixel Buds Pro. These are Google's first headphones with active noise cancellation (ANC).
A special 6-core audio chip is used, which works with algorithms developed by Google's own team of sound engineers and special speakers. The Pixel Buds Pro feature Silent Seal technology, which gives maximum sealing, thus minimizing noise as much as possible. Built-in sensors will measure the pressure in the ear canal to ensure comfort even when worn for a long time.
Pixel Buds Pro will get Google Assistant and multi-connect support, so they can switch between multiple previously paired Bluetooth devices, including laptops, tablets, TVs, and Android and iOS phones.
The headphones have received a transparency mode in which they pass ambient noise, which is useful for athletes and not only.
The Pixel Buds Pro have an IPX4 waterproof rating, while the case itself has an IPX2 rating.
During this year, Google will release an OTA update for the Pixel Buds Pro that will allow the headphones to take advantage of spatial audio. It can be pre-ordered on July 21 for $199 (here are release dates in different countries). Pixel Buds Pro will come in four colorways: Lemongrass, Charcoal, Fog, and Coral.
