Sony's Abandoned F-Zero Killer | Wipeout retrospective
263What do you get when you take F-Zero, Mario Kart, and 90’s electronic music, and mash them all together? You get Wipeout. Sony’s answer to F-Zero was no kids game, and the soundtracks read like an electronic music festival’s dream lineup. Unfortunately, Sony seems to have left the series in the dust, trapped in the era where it was prominent. This video looks at the Wipeout series’ history, the life and times of Psygnosis / Studio Liverpool, and why we may never see another Wipeout game ever again.
At least not as a mobile game.

-I very well could've played HD Fury via RPCS3 since it's not region locked, and so I did after this video.
-XL / 2097 does not use the same tracks as the first game. As such, that error is being cut.
-This was my first time playing most of these games, so please excuse my sloppy driving.
