Soulstone Survivors | Friday Prog Session
0Bet you thought I wouldn't make it, huh? Sorry, folks. It was almost a safe bet that I'd forget my stream today! Normally this isn't an issue, but we've been hanging out in Mabinogi a lot in recent Fridays, and it's far too easy to lose track of time when you're neck deep in learning about 500 new game systems spanning 15 years of content. Thankfully everyone else noticed the time before I did, so I managed to sneak in before too many people missed me... I hope. (And at least two of my regular viewers are also my partners in crime here, so that helps!)
The entire VOD for today focuses on me grinding out many, many failed attempts at getting an 8-minute map clear. Despite lots of prior practice and lots of experimentation with different strategies, the stars did not align for me on this night. Fortunately we had a good time trying, and all the practice was not in vain: I was able to finally get my clear off stream (of course) by the middle of the week. Between good advice (use the corners of the map, friends!) RNG luck, and dedication, it's amazing what you can accomplish, even for a professional catboy like myself. =)
