6It was high time I made my way down into Fallout: New Vegas. This highly regarded Fallout entry was requested by my subscribers, so cheers to those who voted! Traveling the wastes with me is E9 Brewing from Tacoma, WA. In celebration of 50 subscribers to my channel, I cracked open the Fifth Nail sour ale that they brewed for the 5th anniversary of the Pine Box beer bar in Seattle.

Now onto the beer! E9 Brewing has quietly made a name for themselves as the premier sour and wild ale masters of Tacoma. So much so that their reputation precedes them here in Seattle, and they get to collaborate often with some of the best in the Pacific Northwest: including Holy Mountain and De Garde Brewing. They crank out excellent sours and Fifth Nail is right on the money. Well balanced with a brett forward flavor, it went down faster than Joe Cobb when I hit him with a stick of dynamite and a double-barreled blast from my Sturdy Caravan Shotgun. Delicious sour beer was a great start for my first outing in Fallout: New Vegas. I feel prepared for the wastes and the Legion.
