Broforce is an indie action platformer that's near and dear to my heart. I was looking for something silly and ridiculous to stream on July 4th and Broforce was a perfect match. Part Contra, part Super Meat Boy, but 100% balls to the wall action! The game is a flamboyant, passionate love letter to 80's action film machismo and if you've seen any other of my videos on this channel you'll know how much I appreciate that. See if you can spot all the references in this game to some of your favorite 80's movies and TV shows!

Now onto the beer! You knew Broforce had to end on a BANG! Green Bench and American Solera delivered it, with extreme force. The Obscure is a rum barrel aged English style barleywine and a real treat for all the teal lovers like me. It's got all the hallmarks of what makes barleywine the best style - toffee, caramel, dates, dark fruits, and even a bit of maple syrup in the blend. The rum heat had tapered off after a few years in the cellar, so it was a sneak attack! Barleywine is life.
