Hello and welcome to another Source Shorts video! Today, I am looking into how you can add certain effects related to the player, for example, making them show up on monitors and in reflections, but also showing thirdperson shadows in firstperson and allowing players to be affected by env_projectedtexture entities. I overlooked that this works with the Mapbase code, but only when the variable m_bDrawPlayerModelExternally is set to true (which it never is, unless you do that for yourself!). I'll see about incorporating the code for these features from Mapbase when I get around to updating my GitHub page at some point in the near future (hopefully!).
