Thanks to Serge Vakulenko and his dvk-demos patched simh https://github.com/shattered/simh.git its possible to run an interesting piece of computer history, namely the Soviet BSD clone called DEMOS ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DEMOS ) I have written about it in the past here https://astr0baby.wordpress.com/2016/10/17/soviet-unix-clone-demos/ (please excuse the putty usage there, but back then it was the only way how to properly display the KOI8 text and console graphics of the DEMOS UNIX)

At roughly 13:30 in the demo you can see its possible to compile some C code via the native cc compiler
