636Excessive use of conveyor junctions can lag up your game. Atleast that's what they say. But is there any truth behind it? In this episode of Space Busters, we dive into this myth to see for ourselves if it holds any water or if it's just a rumor that has been spread far and wide. In this video, we will run three different tests to figure out what effect conveyor junctions have on a world.
Test #1 is a baseline test where we only use 2-sided conveyors in the world. This will allow us to see how things look normally.
Test #2 is the conveyor junction test where we replace ALL conveyors with junctions to see what that does to our game. Will it be super laggy? Who knows?
Test #3 is where we throw caution to the wind and put junctions EVERYWHERE, even acting as parts of the base itself. This is to see if the game gets even more laggy with useless conveyor junctions everywhere.
With these three tests, we should be able to put to rest the question of if conveyor junctions cause lag!
