Space Engineers - Antaeus Cruiser, planet dive and takeoff.
3The Antaeus Cruiser is a unique cruiser class ship in that she's the only ship in its fleet capable of planetary landing and takeoff via a maneuver called a planet dive. using her powerful thruster the ship will break her fall as it approaches the planet, slowing it down enough to "dive" into the ocean instead of landing as a typical landing on the ground is more or less impossible with such a large ship.
Once under water the ship slow down to a halt and stabilize itself before floating back up to the surface, acting like a hybrid of a submarine and a battleship. Once the ship is ready to return to space it will descend deep into the ocean before going nose up and using a mix of thrust an buoyancy to propel itself into the air and then use maximum burn until she clears the planet's gravitational pull.
Space Engineers may not have liquid water or anything like that but in game this ship is at least capable of performing a stop-and-go near the planets surface before returning to space.
