I only recently noticed that Uranium has been removed from the planets and after a failed start (I tired Hydrogen first), I have solved the problem with a Battery powered ship. It does not have anything like the range of a Uranium ship (Normally counting in days) but it will allow for mining runs of up to 30 minutes possibly pushed to 1 hour (I have not done a stress test).

The ship is a little larger than the usual ships I make (due to the battery sizes) and since I play survival this ship is smaller than others people publish from the creative side of the game. It turns quite poorly unless it is moving but overall I am quite pleased with the design.

Note: It will not fly upside-down.
