OOOOOOOOOOhhhh so many issues with the new large grid mobile mining rig. Mostly just technical issues getting it to function as a miner and load balancing issues, though. So nothing to mind-blowing.
The technical issues are coordinating the rotators, drill bits, and drill pistons. I will either set up a button panel or two or somehow arrange the shortcuts in the quick bar to function as a drill command center. I don't know what would work best, so any suggestions would be welcome for sure.
The load balancing issues may be a little more difficult to solve, however. I have a piston on the drill rig itself to extend it further away from the rover body. I'm not sure if that was such a good idea in general, but it will be useful to make sure that I'm drilling far enough away from the rover itself not to cause any terrain morphing issues. But the balancing of the whole rover itself is still an issue. Again, put your suggestions down in the comments below! :)
