Space Engineers - Sun Tracking Sattelite [no mods]
Hey guys ! Here is my latest creation : a satellite that is capable of orienting itself towards the sun, without using any mods.
The idea is : for each direction (yaw, pitch, roll), rotate while the power is increasing (i.e until it decreases). Then, adjust the next direction, and do that until the power is greater than the one configured inside the programmable block's script.
To start the adjusting mode, turn on and start the timer called "STS/AdjustTimer". It will stop automatically when adjusted. Then you can start it again.
I'm also going to make adjust itself periodically so that it can be compatible with the new rotating sun feature.
Hope you like it ! It's available on workshop and your comments are always welcome.
