A time-honored tradition on w4stedspace streams is finding out just how far you can push multiplayer. So to end out the latest episode of Engineer Wars filming, a succession of Lotuses (Lotii?) were dropped on the set, followed by a few large ships.

Well, I'm not going to stand around and get bombed back to the Stone Age, so I pulled out the Blender. (Properly the I-603 Blender.) This is I believe the largest fighter in terms of weight and size that I've built for my fleet and is one of the few actually armed with gatling *turrets*. It is also needlessly overengineered, underpowered... and thanks to Clang, quite good at burrowing through ships.

Needless to say, Clang was not impressed by my acrobatics and punished me with a new kind of game failure, and by subjecting my ship to a bug that technically was fixed last week -- but at the same time, I wasn't actually disconnected from the game until I forced SE to close via Task Manager *8* minutes after the not-crash. So SE clearly thought it hadn't crashed, but it definitely had, at least from my PoV.

Check out w4stedspace's channels on YouTube and Twitch - he streams SE and other games and also runs the popular Engineer Wars series, where teams of players compete weekly to complete complex build challenges in SE.
