A long time ago Sega released a pair of 3D glasses for their Sega Mark III/Sega Master System. They were shutter based which was really neat for a video game system in 1986 since it allowed for full color 3D with a normal television. Only a handful of games were made that used them including a version of Space Harrier.

So twenty years later Sega was releasing large compilations of their games as the Sega Ages line and one of these was a collection of all the Space Harrier games and all the variations including the 3D version. Since no one was going to produce shutter based glasses for the PlayStation 2, and they wouldn't work with LCD and plasma displays because of the timing, they added a red/blue 3D mode that works with more traditional 3D glasses.

So put on your glasses and check out the game.
