Space Jam is an absolutely GOATED movie and with the new Lebron James sequel Space Jam: A New Legacy out now, we figured there's no better time than now to take a look at the 1996 tie-in videogame and honestly, we wish we hadn't.

Licensed games often get a bad rap and Acclaim's Space Jam does nothing to buck that trend. In fact, it's everything you've grown to hate about tie-in games. But how did things go so wrong? How did a cult-classic movie and childhood favorite of many turn out such a hot trashbag of a game? Space Jam is a hybrid animated/live action comedy about retired basketball superstar Michael Jordan who is recruited by the Looney Tunes to help them win a basketball match against a group of aliens who intend to enslave them as attractions for their theme park.
