● This game’s concept is freaking awesome. Unfortunately, its core mechanics are poorly done and easily make the game infuriating for any player that is looking to get the highest score on each mission on the first try. Also, the VIP Company sucks balls, screw those guys, seriously.

The game can be unfair at times due to the fact that you can’t predict where the enemies are going to come from and when they do, it will probably be too late for you to be able to set up a proper defense, in part because the game is too fast paced, you can’t pause, and you need to do too many things in a short amount of time and also in part because of the initial placement of the cargo that you need to transport. So if you put the majority of your cargo in the back of your ship, obviously you are going to have less space to mount up defenses against enemies coming from behind. It is a mess with each new mission.

On top of that you have too much stuff that you need to actively be doing - make sure your turrets are oriented right, if they aren’t, well you better reorient them or sell them and buy new ones, make sure you keep building stuff, use abilities on each individual turret, pickup money with your mouse (because they don’t have tractor beams in this God damn game), repair your ship, make sure you got enough thrusters or use boost in order to get those 2 extra stars.

The ships that you get are way too small for what you are required to do and the thrusters, outside of a few abilities that you manually have to use on them, don’t serve any purpose whatsoever other than getting to your destination faster. It won’t make you outrun the enemies or allow you to dodge shots. Your speed does nothing to help you face off your enemies.

Maybe the game would have been better off with a pause option in which you could use those stupid abilities or build turrets at least. In the end, the game is a lot of fun, until it decides to screw you over with the most ridiculous missions. I wanted to rage uninstall this game halfway through. Fuck this game.
