Space Station 14: Running the TEG with a hot loop disconnected from the atmos miners
6This is a little overview of what I learned from another atmos tech in order to make a TEG that is at the very least functional enough to make power for the entire station without the need for an AME. This station in particular doesn't have plasma gas miners but gives you 3 plasma tanks in order to generate power. After successfully setting it up, I decided to just run over what my setup was like after I managed to set everything up.
I did use the burn chamber's blast doors as a quick and efficient way to vent all the gases, but you can also space a tile with a fire axe and set up directional windows.
Also in this guide is a little tip for spaced radiators in order to get them to run more efficiently
Gas setup:
67% plasma 34% oxygen
About 3 plasma tanks and 2 oxygen tanks are needed to set this up.
