Can a SpaceX upper stage recovery be possible? Back in April 2018 Elon Musk tweeted that SpaceX would attempt to bring rocket upper stage back from orbital velocity using a giant party balloon and then land on a bouncy house.

By party balloon, let's assume an inflatable heat shield... but how would that work exactly? This will tell you all you need to know about the upcoming attempt to return that upper stage along with a few fun facts about the Falcon 9.
