Fun fact: Adams was supposed to be the protagonist of a story DLC set after the main game. In it, he would have survived the final battle, but also would've been scarred beyond recognition. He would disguise himself as one of Konrad's men and work with the surviving members of the 33rd to call in an evacuation. A script was written for it, and a model was made for a Heavy Trooper with a flamethrower for the DLC.
