Spec Ops: The Line (Part 01) From Recon To Rescue

As a gamer, it's almost inevitable that I will play a shooter. Whether it be first person, third person, doesn't matter. But what matters is how it's being presented. Since I'm mostly a cerebral type person, I prefer a shooter that is capable of making you think. Going in Rambo style can be a lot of fun, but after awhile it get's boring because of repetition.
You go into an area filled with people. You run around like a headless chicken with bullets flying all around you. And you gun down anyone that's in your way like a speedrunner going for a world record. However, when you're placed in situations that force you to constantly reassess things, that's where the magic happens. Let's take the same situation, except this time, you have next to no ammo. Just one magazine. Now, you're forced to prioritize targets. Do you aim for the guys providing top cover for the guys below? Do you take a stealth approach and only kill those that will not alert others to your position? Do you kill those around you to scavenge for much-needed supplies before escalating to something else?
This game gets closer to the second example, and then it takes it a step further by asking you questions. Challenging your expectations of what you think this game is about. How things aren't as black and white as they seem when coming in with a fresh perspective.
