Specimen 6 was a Xenomorph Alpha Drone bred on planet BG-386 by a Weyland Yutani research team led by Dr. Groves. This Xenomorph showed above average levels of both intelligence and ferocity, even from birth.
It was the first Xenomorph in the facility to escape containment and was responsible for releasing the Queen also held there, triggering a large scale xenomorph outbreak on the planet.

Specimen 6 was birthed inside a controlled environment at the planet’s research facility by Dr. Groves and his team.
Having gestated inside a restrained human host, she was born into a containment tube to be safely collected.
But when they entered the room to retrieve the chestbursters, she burrowed back inside and emerged out through the mouth to escape.
Dr. Groves activated the emergency systems in the room, killing the scientists, but he was stopped by Karl Bishop Weyland before he could kill Specimen 6, because Weyland was impressed by the chestburster’s above-normal intelligence, and wanted to keep it to study.

The specimen was branded with the number "6" on its forehead.
After developing to maturity, 6 was subjected to a number of tests by Weyland-Yutani to explore her lethality and problem-solving.
When Weyland opened the Yautja Pyramid beneath the research facility, a powerful EMP was unleashed, shutting down the power in the research complex and allowing Six to slip out of her restraints and free the other Aliens and the Matriarch.

Six and the other Xenomorphs made their way to the nearby colony to find hosts, and the Matriarch set up a Hive within the refinery.
A force of Colonial Marines was then sent to the planet to combat the infestation.
After making her way across the colony, Six killed many Marines, Colonists, and Androids, and made her way to an ancient arena, where she killed two YoungBlood Predators, and fought an Elite.
Six was nearly defeated, but stabbed it with her tail, and then harvested it, creating a PredAlien.

On her way back to the hive, Six was overcome by neural pain as the Matriarch was killed inside in the refinery by a Marine, and was captured by Weyland Yutani and taken off-world for study, but Six escaped once again, and molted into a Praetorian, and then into a Queen, starting a new hive.
I thought Specimen 6 was a really cool xenomorph, and it reminded me of the Grid Alien how she was a special Drone that was smarter and even more deadly than the rest, so I guess she must have been a Alpha-Drone.
And I found it really fun to play as the Alien in the game.
