Spectre Returns as a Murderous Nightmare in the Bronze Age
We're returning to the Spectre with his time in the Bronze Age! Today, Arden is going to go over some more history of this character, covering the eventually reprinted comics originally published in Adventure Comics now called Wrath of the Spectre. Then, the Spectre returns to the Brave and the Bold series with Batman as they confront actions that resemble the behaviour mysterious cult from over 100 years in the past!
Wrath of the Spectre is notable for some controversial moves concerning Spectre's character. Whether or not he turned into a dark figure or murderous monster, we leave for you to decide. This video covers content from the Wrath of the Spectre miniseries (1988), Justice League of America (vol. 1) #220 (1983), and Brave and the Bold (vol. 1) #116 (1975). Don't let those publications fool you, most of this content came out in the early Bronze Age, in the mid-1970s.
