Speedball - 1988 - MS-DOS Game Review
15This game was released for IBM Personal Computers and compatibles running MS-DOS.
This fun team ballgame is confusing to play at first, but after a little while the game mechanics makes sense. It is not the type of game I usually play, so it took me a little while to get used to the controls.
The game has a multiplayer function where you can play against someone that is at the same computer that you are on, which can add a little game play time, but having just the one course available it a bit limiting, as is navigating through the game menu.
To get this to run properly, I had to emulate a pretty slow 286, with 750 cycles in Dosbox, as the game was either running too fast or too slow with other machines.
