Speedmapping: Test2 (28/8/19)
3So, i've decided to sketch as many maps as I could withing the lapse of one week. Managed to do 5 maps.
Used custom textures based on "nekroturge's dev textures", then modified them to my own taste so i could focus on map layout and gameplay instead.
Attempted to create a map with several sector heights and lightning intensities.
Also, attempted to make bigger rooms to give player more freedom of movement.
So, after i've played several doom 64 levels, i was kinda inspired to make some oblique sectors, so i've attempted to recreate such oblique rooms.
Later noticed that there were particular textures on doom 64 which helped to get the illusion of oblique rooms, while being squarish instead of rombus, as I thought.
There is an unrevealed secret area.
