Spelunky 2 - Pacifist Chain No% Duat Complete (World's First)
I've been a bit busy, but I've been going for this category on and off for a while. With this completion, both Pacifist Chain No% routes have been cleared. Although I still consider Pacifist Chain No% Abzu the harder run, this grind was significantly worse, as I got some of the worst late-game luck I've ever had. I beat the Abzu variant on my 2nd or 3rd run into Sunken City, while it took about 8 runs into Sunken City to finally clear the Duat variant.
I should note that neither the magmar pot nor the Hired Hand with the arrow is technically necessary to complete this category. To avoid needing the magmar pot, you could just get a lucky Pacifist Anubis kill, and to avoid needing the arrow, you could just get a leprechaun in the City of Gold. Although the magmar pot and HH arrow strats are meant to be more consistent, it is definitely a trickier route, and I lost quite a few runs to it.
Pacifist Chain No% Duat requires the player to beat Hundun and finish 7-4 through the Duat route with no gold, no kills, no damage, no items, and no resources.
Pacifist: This is a Pacifist run, meaning that killing enemies must be avoided. This is based solely on what the game considers Pacifist. I have a pink Pacifist tracker in the corner that tells me if I'm still a Pacifist, and this can be verified in the run recap with the journal line "I was a pacifist." If you're wondering how the bosses are "killed" in a Pacifist manner, I will explain further below.
Chain No% Duat: The player must end the game with the 4 health, 4 bombs, and 4 ropes that they started with, and they cannot gain or use gold/items/resources. Since certain items and actions are "required" to complete the chain, some exceptions have been made to the rules above. For example, the player is allowed to pick up and use the Udjat Eye, Crown/Hedjet, Ankh, Excalibur/Scepter, Tablet of Destiny, and Qilin. However, there are still restrictions on when those items can be used.
Pacifist Chain No% Duat is not an official category on Mossranking at the moment, so its definition is derived from the combination of the two categories below:
The official Pacifist rules: https://mossranking.com/cat.php?cat=225

Pacifist Hundun: Killing Hundun in a Pacifist run is quite simple. Since there are poison arrows in Sunken City, and since poison damage is not tracked to the player, you can simply poison Hundun's last head and wait for it to die to the poison and it will be Pacifist.
Pacifist Anubis: There are various ways to "kill" Anubis in a Pacifist No% run, all with varying levels of consistency. The most consistent way I have found is by bringing a magmar pot from Volcana, which can be obtained by having an imp drop one onto the block below it. After doing 18 damage to Anubis, you can throw the magmar pot at Anubis and have the magmar do the remaining 2 damage to kill Anubis. Another way to kill Anubis in a Pacifist No% run is to use a poison arrow obtained from Tun. However, I opted against this route for two reasons: 1. If I wanted to obtain the poison arrow without Tun aggro, I would have already needed a magmar pot to do so. 2. If I had to obtain the poison arrow with Tun aggro, I would endanger my Hired Hand.
Pacifist Anubis II: Typically, Anubis II is killed by leading him into Apep after having Osiris clear a hole in the top of the level. However, since there was a cobra at the top, I decided to let it poison Anubis II, and then I simply waited for the poison to kill him.
Pacifist Osiris: Osiris is killed in Pacifist No% by using ownership shenanigans. Simplifying a bit, if Osiris is killed by the player while the player has been stunned (and has been hit by Osiris), then it will be Pacifist. Conveniently, Osiris's head does 0 contact damage, but will still count as being hit by Osiris, so this is how the transfer of ownership is done. To kill Osiris at the same time as getting stunned, I throw a skull at Osiris and then run into the Duat wall to stun myself.
