Spelunky 2 - Pacifist Run in Under 2 Minutes (No Kills)
12Pacifist is an official run condition in Spelunky 2 that essentially means no kills. The Pacifist run condition can be checked at the end of the run in the journal with the line "I was a pacifist," which will only show up if the player satisfies the condition. I also have a pink Pacifist tracker in the corner that displays "Pacifist" if the run is still Pacifist.
There are many ways to "kill" Tiamat in a Pacifist run. The strategy that I used in this run takes advantage of how ownership works in the game. Essentially, if you're stunned by an enemy and you are unconscious in the air, you do not have ownership over your bombs for a short while until you hit the ground. This is why I put down 4 bombs, whip them, and then purposefully get hit by a Tiamat orb to stun myself while the bombs kill Tiamat.
