Spider-Man: Web of Shadows - Deep Dive Retrospective Review
Developed by Shaba Games, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is a very ambitious game. For starters, Shaba sought out to revolutionize Spider-Man's combat, by letting spidey seamlessly transition between ground, air, and wall combat. This is a major feat in itself, but Shaba also strived to give fans an exciting story based around the symbiote suit, letting players choose how much (or how little) they wanted to give in to the suit and risk taking Spider-Man down a dark path. Within this story are also plenty of easter eggs and comic references to the wider Marvel universe, so it's no wonder why Web of Shadows remains a fan favorite game to this day. However, while Web of Shadows has some great features, it also has some notorious problems. So in this video, we'll discuss all of those elements and how the game holds up as a whole, as we walk through the game together!
