Spider-Punk Is Getting An Animated Movie After Beyond The Spiderverse!
29Spider-Man Beyond the Spiderverse will not be the final animated Spider-Man movie we get! Spider-Punk, the beloved and iconic character that made his on screen debut in 2023’s Spider-Man Across The Spiderverse has been announced to have an animated movie in the works at Sony Pictures Animation! Spider-Punk is an early development and is being written by Daniel Kaluuya (who voiced the character himself) and Ajon Singh. No plot details have been revealed but the initial guess is that we’ll see Spider-Punk return in Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse and the events of that film will set up the Spider-Verse spinoff featuring the character, during CinemaCon 2025, we saw a glimpse of Earth 138 that showed Miles and Gwen talking on top of a building. With this exciting news, this sounds like Sony’s new attempt to expand the Spider-Verse with old and new characters. Spider-Man Noir is the recent character who will be getting his own show coming exclusively to Amazon Prime in Fall 2026. Are you excited to see Spider-Punk in a solo animated film?
