Newest Supermodel builds added something called "simulated netboard" which basically means that you can now use the linked feature on all games (except SR2 atm) with the multithreading option enabled (and regardless of that, it runs WAY faster than it did before). Essentially this as well as Daytona/Scud multiplayer is completely feasible now :D

With that said, that's where I decided to go and beat Spikeout FE for the first time with my cousin as I wanted to take the chance of multiplayer. It was more fun, though it definitely was as absolutely hard as it always was (didn't help that I was playing with keyboard so no Super Attacks, and my cousin was playing this for the first time lol).

Q&A:
Q: What is that mess on the second player's screen that shows up at the end of Diesel Town?
A: Not sure, but I must have brought it up by accident by pressing a certian key. Since I didn't want to risk mashing the keyboard and pressing Test Menu (ending the LONG playthrough abruptly), I had to just roll with it.

Q: Texture issues?
A: Was using legacy renderer; new 3D renderer might be a bit slower (which is why I didn't take the risk just in case as I was doing two players) but there are no texture issues.

Q: Is the game cheap
A: Yesn't; its something like Metal Slug and Contra where this game is an absolute quarter muncher but technically it is possible to s o m e h o w get skilled enough and not die this much on an actual run (there are people that have 1cc'd this game, go figure). Also, I can tell that a 4 player run of this, while might add more enemies to compensate, could be easier to beat enemy swarms faster as well as do strategies with the bosses (eg: beat the boss all 4 at the same time when there's no more small fries)
