Sometimes the most optimistic of villains love to playtime for an most dangerous ways, but then reality destruction comes shattering down, they even knew how bad things could gone happen for that.... Painfully.
But luckily, they have some redemptions and to grow up for not happen in chaos, ever again.
Connections:
They both are characters who Both come from a powerful species from outer space (gems and collectors) Unlike them, they are innocent childlike (although somehow violent and unhinged) beings who love fun and games. Both were stupidly innocent to the point of trusting anyone no matter what, especially if games are involved. They both were connected to big powers in their universes (spinel being the former entertainer of pink diamond and the collector being the youngest sibling of the archivists) and they played with people who were special to them (spinel played with pink diamond and the collector played with the titans.). They people closest to them at the time decided to play a “game” (pink diamond told spinel to stand still in the garden while the archivist told the collector to play with the titans) which was actually a trick to get rid of them (pink diamond never returned to spinel so spinel was left to stand there for centuries while the archivists were afraid of the titans power so they sent the collector to the titans who would be killed one by one by the archivists until the last remaining titan, thinking the collector did the crime. Imprisoned him inside the in-between realm). They both became “friends” with a corrupt leader (pink diamond again and lord belos) This leader made them a promise that our combatants waited centuries for them to do (Pink Diamond promised Spinel to come back one day and that she had to wait for her in the rose garden while Belos promised The Collector he would set him free as long as they help him on preparing the draining spell) This was nothing but a cold act of manipulation and ended up breaking their promises (Pink Diamond never came back while Belos didn't set The Collector free and instead threw him off a cliff). They would later get free from their prisons (spinel is shown a broadcast showing steven universe and king uses his titan powers to free king from his mirror prison) where They started a rampage or “game” as they called it that would put the whole world in danger (Spinel bringing a machine that would destroy earth while The Collector would start ruling over all of the boiling isles). During this they mess with a lot of the characters (Spinel making the gems forget their memories while The Collector turns most people into puppets). Although during this they still kept a childish attitude because of one of the main characters (Steven erased Spinel's memories while King calmed down The Collector) who were ironically the children of those people they were close to/the ones who trapped them (steven universe is the son of pink diamond while king was the son of the titan) at first the main character just wanted to get rid of them but over time they grow to understand them and see they are good people who are out of themselves because of suffering from loneliness and betrayal. But it was only made harder for them as they realized they were ignored while the main character’s tried helping their friend’s. They eventually saw the destruction they have caused and apologized for what they did. And later they would find some hope as the ones they tormented accepted their forgiveness. They would go on to try and better themselves. For contrast, spinel comes from a sci-fi series while the collector comes from a fantasy series. While pink got away with her crimes and eventually settled down. Belos got his just deserts and was killed in the end.
