Goodness is a trait and disposition valued by God, as God can create nothing other than good. How do we as the primary teacher to our children maintain the goodness in the child, when they may experience us acting otherwise? In this study host Fr. Doug Lorig looks at the ways we can teach our children to do well for others, and move beyond the motivation of receiving praise.
Spirituality In Parenting: Building a Temple in the Hearts of Our Children is the first series of its kind, developed out of the requests of Christian parents searching for spiritual guidance and tools in raising their children. The series is designed to be viewed by individuals or in group settings. Each episode includes study breaks that promote reflective thought and discussion about the ideas discussed in that episode. The series comprised of nine 30-minute programs is hosted by Fr. Doug Lorig with guest appearances by award-winning journalist and author (The Lily Trilogy) Sherry Boas and Fr. Doug’s daughter, Heather Lorig, as they discuss “Joy” and “Patience” in parenting.
