Splatoon 2: Hero Mode: Exploring Hub 5: Cephalon HQ
6As I've said before, the time of day seems to become later and later as you go through a further hub. The fifth and final hub, Cephalon HQ, takes place at night. A toxic-purple night that shows that Agent 4's quest is about to become the hardest it has ever reached.
As the camera shows, something is supposed to pop up from a giant hole in the ground, but you must first get all of the final Zapfish out of this area in order to activate it.
Celphalon HQ is a total maze! Such a maze, that it's the only hub in this game that has its own checkpoints, so that you can keep track of where you are as you're locating its hard-to-reach stage entrances.
As a matter of fact, I was so distracted by the nature of this hub that I completely forget to find and reveal the entrances! One of them is on an invisible path that must be uncovered by ink, while another is actually sitting on a spinning block! Every time you Super Jump to that one, the block will always readjust itself so that you can stand on its entrance, but this will only last for a few seconds before it the block twirls, again.
Simply put, enjoy my struggle of navigating and completing this hub area. This will at least hopefully make the actual levels themselves easier to watch and beat, in comparison. With Marie as your witness, Callie and the Great Zapfish MUST be saved at ALL costs!
