Phew, it's a long way around the back to get to the E-litre 4K, so long that they have pushed up with the Tower before I get close. Still, they don't seem to be expecting me, and maybe that will cause them to start looking over their shoulder a bit. I push the Tower the other way a bit, inking as I go, before I start to dodge the returning E-litre 4K. That's when I am flanked by the bucket on the other team. How ironic. I ink a new path back, happy to see that the purple inklings haven't come this way yet, but I get carried away after a nice Splat Bomb throw, chasing the super-jumper landing spot to get myself squished.

I do some defensive inking on my return, working my way forwards slowly but surely, and running not so much in to but past the E-litre 4K. I approach from a different angle, not sure if they saw me or not, to splat them nicely, before riding the Tower again. This time, it's a score-draw against the other bucket. Our turf control is good enough for me to be more direct, but that only works so far, and I get kinda stuck in purple ink, hit by the bucket from behind to set up the E-litre 4K for a splat. I'm not battling at my best so far.

More defensive inking next, as our own charger stays sentinel-like along the Tower's path. Even so, my squidmates push the Tower the other way in to the lead, which is good, and as I move up to see what I can do the bucket ambushes me efficiently from above. That should be me! Still, our lead increases, our turf control is solid, and super-jumping back doesn't get me splatted immediately. Just pretty quickly after landing and taking more silly risks for nothing.

It seems everyone is gunning for me now, perhaps because my sub-optimal sloshing has made me a soft target so far. They're not wrong, and I am lucky to recognise this and shift up a gear. I start making myself mobile, jinking and sloshing, rather than just sloshing, and am able to catch two inklings out at once, and keep the other bucket guessing as to where I am for long enough to connect my sloshes to them whilst staying safe for once. Nice! That's more like it.

I recover more turf and lie in wait for the purple team to return, as my squidmates push the Tower. My ambush goes well, but perhaps I should have switched positions more quickly, as I just make myself an obvious target in an enclosed position. Getting one more splat before I am splatted is not bad, but I could have stayed mobile and done better. At least we have the lead, which lets me wait for the purple team to make a move, rather than trying to force one. I remember to stay mobile too, withdrawing from an encounter to stay safe whilst adding pressure to different inklings. This is more like it.

Back on the Tower, I hold my Ink Storm because I realise the purple team were all splatted, launching it only when they start coming out of their base again. I watch for inky approaches, and keep my feet moving. Rather than hoping to splat the inkling getting on to the Tower, I make sure I'm not there for them to splat. A bit of Ink Armour helps me out, as the purple team are there in force, and my only regret is that time runs out before I can slosh the E-litre 4K from below to complete the set. It's a good victory, and a good battle to learn from. Stay mobile! Woomy!
