Our 2nd Big Run event took place during the weekend of the 4th and 5th March 2023. It was at Inkblot Art Academy featuring a new King Salmonid called Horrorboros. This was split into multiple sessions. I played with Jenna for a bit during the first one. The rest was solo. I didn’t play as much, as I focused more on Anarchy Series and X Battle. On the second day, played a bit more Big Run alongside Anarchy Series and X Battle. Had a mix of solo, and friends games, featuring Matt, Jenna, and Maddi. Didn’t have the greatest of runs as I kept trying to get my Eggsecutive VP back, which I did in the very end, but almost dropped to Profreshional +2.
I found Inkblot Art Academy to be much harder compared to Wahoo World. Extremely chaotic and more difficult for all of us to survive, which explained (as usual) my poor gameplay. Defeating Horrorboros was also challenging. Took me a while to realise that the most damage taken is from the mouth whilst inhaling to make an orb (a mix of the Steelhead and Booyah Bomb). Even that was hard, because of all the boss salmonids chasing me and the team.
My golden egg score was two more than my previous best, which was 117. After seeing the results, I barely made top 20% again.
